Cricket news - Live Cricket Score - Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, 2nd T20I, Lahore
Quick wickets:
Rajapaksa falls to Shadab, getting out for a 48-ball 77, while Minod Bhanuka is run out. With Isuru Uadana bowled by Riaz, Pakistan have made a fine comeback in the death overs. Sri Lanka are 155 for 6 after 18.
End of partnership
The stand comes to an end six short the century mark as Pakistan finally hit the stumps at the non-striker's end. Asif Ali it is, with the direct hit, and Jayasuriya heads back for a 28-ball 34. Sri Lanka are 135 for 3 in the 16th over.
100 up for Sri Lanka, fifty for Rajapaksa
A big over in the 11th as Rajapaksa strikes two sixes off Shadab while Jayasuriya scores a four to bring up a half-century stand. In the next over, Sri Lanka cross the 100-run mark while Rajapaksa brings up a 31-ball fifty, registering his maiden T20I half-century. Sri Lanka are 106 for 2 after 12.
Steady partnership:
Despite a couple of quiet overs, Rajapaksa and Jayasuriya have put on a steady partnership to take Sri Lanka to 80/2 after 10.
Run outs missed
Shehzad and Riaz fail to hit the stumps at the non-striker's end from within the circle, giving Sri Lanka further reprieves. Rajapaksa and Jayasuriya capitalise as they take Sri Lanka to 52/2 at the end of the powerplay.
Misfield, missed run out, boundaries and direct hit:
Hasnain lets one go through at short fine leg, conceding a boundary while Riaz misses a run out chance at the other end. This is followed by a boundary for Fernando and a six for Rajapaksa off Wasim. But a direct hit from Shadab Khan ends the positive partnership, sending back Fernando for 8. Sri Lanka are 41 for 2 after 5.
Key wicket:
Wasim delivers an important breakthrough, sending back Gunathilaka for 15. Looking to force the ball off the backfoot, the opener ended up edging it to the 'keeper.
Positive start:
Imad Wasim opens the attack for Pakistan and Gunathilaka gets into the act with a four through cover in the first over. Mohammad Amir is then welcomed into the attack with a four through cover by Gunathilaka, who edges the next ball past slip for a four. Sri Lanka are 16/0 after 2 overs.

Build-up
Hello and welcome to the Live Blog for the second T20I between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Pakistan entered the series as favourites, going up against a weakened Sri Lanka team. Fresh off a 2-0 ODI series victory, Pakistan - the top-ranked T20I side - were expected to breeze past the eighth-ranked team in the world, who were missing several of their star players. However, the visitors came up with a spirited performance, bowling out Pakistan for 101 to secure a 64-run victory - their first in the format against Pakistan since December 2013.
On a slightly two-paced track, Isuru Udana, Nuwan Pradeep and Co. used variations well as Pakistan collapsed in a heap. This was after Danuskha Gunathilaka extended his good form with a brisk half-century and put on a fine 84-run opening stand with Avishka Fernando. Mohammad Hasnain bagged a hat-trick but the Pakistan batsmen weren't able to back up his efforts.
Can Sri Lanka come up with another clinical performance and clinch their first bilateral T20I series win over Pakistan? Stay tuned for the toss and team updates.
