Player of the Match

That's it for now. Bye bye and sleep well with lots of cuddles.

Mohammad Rizwan | Multan captain: Honestly we cannot find any mistakes due to the pitch. It's difficult for the bowlers as well. Hopefully we will execute the same in the playoffs and win. We struggled as three of our main pacers - Dahani, Josh Little and Wayne Parnell were not available before the tournament and whatever we had available we trusted them. The way Abbas and Usama Mir bowled is so good to see. Our win is a lot due to the bowlers. Usman Khan I saw in the BPL and even in the T10 format, the pitch demanded a player like him tonight and it came off.

Abbas Afridi | Player of the Match: When we started practice tonight, I told Sikander Bakht that I'm coming to collect the trophy. I used the slower ball and yorker to get my wickets tonight. Our management is very helpful, especially Rizwan and the other senior players.

Mohammad Nawaz | Quetta captain: Tonight we gave too many runs, we made the same mistakes especially during fielding. We made 4 mistakes in the first two overs, we can't afford to do the same in a match. We struggled this season due to our fielding. We have a balanced team on paper, we couldn't gain the momentum. As I said previously on these pitches, we can make mistakes in batting and bowling, but if we keep making the same mistakes in fielding, then it's very difficult. We have a year to work on our shortcomings, we will look at all those and plan for next year.

Ihsanullah: We have a family-like atmosphere here. I did not do well in the last two games, but Abbas did and we won. My plan is to bowl fast. We have no competition amongst ourselves, we are brothers [on any rivalry with Abbas Afridi]. One of my staff taught me that celebration when I play for my domestic team.

22:47 Local Time, 17:47 GMT, 23:17 IST: When do you see 253 made in a T20 game and you end up on the losing side! Multan have managed to defend 262. Another fantastic game if you love the big-hitting. In hindsight, Jason Roy's early dismissal was the difference. Had he been there, who knows this could well have been chased down. Omair Yousuf and Iftikhar Ahmed with a 104-run stand for the fourth wicket ignited a small hope and after they departed, Umar Akmal looked dangerous but Abbas Afridi took a hat-trick en route to a fifer to close the game out. Rizwan went with the leggies during that stand between Yousuf and Iftikhar and the spinners eked out a few precious dots especially to the latter which also proved quite pivotal come the end of the game. Multan with this win move to 2nd and will stay there if Islamabad lose tomorrow. Stay tuned for the presentation...

Equation 19 off 4

Now free-hit time. 24 off 6 needed
