Right-arm speedster James Fuller made his List A debut in April 2011 and was a part of Gloucestershire's winning One-Day Cup campaign in 2015 where he bagged 15 wickets in the tournament. Following the tournament, Middlesex signed him for a three-year contract and his career with the county began in 2016. Playing his first game for Middlesex in the County Championship, he took five wickets against Hampshire and also scored a crucial 92 out of the 162-run partnership for the 9th wicket against Somerset in the same year.
Fuller missed a major part of 2017 due to an elbow problem. From his fingers, his hip, his back to his foot - James has faced all kinds of injuries. His history with injuries has been the result behind a start-stop career. The right arm pacer who is from New Zealand made his first-class debut for Otago against the Northern Districts, hence his built is like those lanky Kiwi bowlers, with a free-flowing bowling action. When he finds his rhythm right, Fuller can be a delight to watch.
