The middle of the three brothers, Andre Malan by self-admission is a semi-professional cricketer. He has played a few T20s for Highveld Lions but has got his major breakthrough thanks to the Global T20 league. He was picked up by the Jo'burg Giants and was the 15th player in the draft to be picked.
Andre has two brothers - Pieter(27) and Janneman(21) who have been picked by other franchises as well.
