Player of the Match

That's all for now from here. Stay safe, take care and sleep tight and cuddle well. See you tomorrow. Bye.

Mohammad Rizwan | Multan captain: The belief was there, when the strategic timeout came, Mushy bhai and Andy came out and told us to squeeze whatever we could from an over. The way Pollard and Rilee played, I can't say much. But the first ball six from Usama was amazing. We made a mistake in our bowling and the plan. We missed the plan in the last two overs when they hit big. We were talking about the other day that we have not seen you win games with the bat, but tonight he did it [on Anwar Ali]. The way we came back and chased 243 after our bowling was awesome. We will try our best tomorrow and then leave it to the almighty.

Rilee Rossouw | Player of the Match: I think I took something from what Roy said the other night, got to go from ball one and it paid off. It might be, because it is a run-chase and everything adds up, the pressure and all, probably my best knock ever. I laughed because TKC told cover to come in for the 1 and then told him to go back because he might get killed [on why he laughed when Pollard hit that flat six over cover]. It's unbelievable. Very very good, some lucky shots and bad bowling gets you to 240. There's a place to still bowl there. I can't reveal my secrets [on where the bowlers need to bowl].

Tom Kohler-Cadmore | Acting captain for Peshawar: You can say that. The batters have played beautifully the last couple of games, Jason with an unbelievable innings and tonight Rilee the same. When the batters play like that, you have to take your hat off. The par score is 200 here, we just did not deal with the pressure tonight. You know you're going to go for boundaries but you have to limit those to one an over instead of two or three. There's multiple places you can look at, as a team we did not execute. You can do everything different slightly and the way Rilee came out, he put us under pressure from ball one and you need a plan when players are batting that well. As long as you are in the qualification race anything can happen, then you have three games to win the trophy.

Anwar Ali: I want to thank Allah for helping us win the game. We always had the belief as I have played such innings in the past. The wicket was true and our batters played outstandingly. To have a batter like Rilee in your team always helps. We have a game left, hopefully we can do well in that.

22:55 Local Time, 17:55 GMT, 23:25 IST: Multan qualify for the playoffs with the highest-ever run-chase in PSL history. Second time in two games that Peshawar have failed to defend 240 or above. Last game it was chased down with 10 balls to spare, tonight 5. An exhibition of batting from Rossouw and Pollard before Anwar Ali and Usama Mir finished it off. Multan lost two early wickets but Pollard was promoted up the order and along with Rossouw just unleashed their power-hitting on the hapless bowlers. The left-hander was destructive with his leg-side dominated shots while Pollard took down the spinners, as he hit Mujeeb for a hat-trick of sixes. Both batters reached their fifties and while Pollard fell, Rossouw carried on relentlessly reaching his hundred off 41 balls. His dismissal opened the door for Peshawar just a bit but it was soon closed down pretty quickly. One has to applaud the curator for producing such pitches even though the bowlers may not agree. Stay tuned for the presentation...

19.1 Arshad Iqbal to Usama Mir, FOUR, Multan have chased down 243. What a match. A short of length delivery outside off, Usama Mir shuffles across and scoops it over the keeper. Smiles and celebrations in the Multan dugout, while Sammy and Mohammad Akram can only smile ruefully

Arshad Iqbal [3.0-0-46-1] is back into the attack

Equation | 3 off 6

MS: 240-6 after 19 overs

18.6Azmatullah to Anwar Ali, SIX, had Powell been right back at long-on, he could have caught that. But instead it has gone for six. That should be the game. Full outside off, Anwar Ali lofts and Powell at long-on runs to his left and sticks an outstretched right hand on the leap, can only parry it over

Equation | 9 off 7

18.5Azmatullah to Usama Mir, 1 run, the low full-toss just dips at the right moment and is below the waist as Usama Mir gets forward to drive, lands in front of the keeper who can't handle that, concedes a bye? No given as a run, so Usama got something on that

Usama Mir wants a no-ball for height. They are checking this full-toss even as they take a bye. Just below the waist. So should be fine.

18.4 Azmatullah to Usama Mir, SIX, Rizwan is shaking his head in disbelief. What a blow from Usama Mir. Short and wide outside off, he has slashed it over the sweeper cover's head. Incredible hit

Usama Mir, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Equation | 16 off 9

18.3 Azmatullah to Rossouw, out Caught by Kohler-Cadmore!! This game is not over yet. Rossouw falls as he miscues the flat-batted pull, it's int he air and TKC from long-on gets across and dives to take a fine catch. Rossouw walks off to a standing ovation as the Peshawar side come up to congratulate as well. A lifeline for Peshawar. Rossouw c Kohler-Cadmore b Azmatullah 121(51) [4s-12 6s-8]

Azmatullah to Rossouw, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Equation | 16 off 10

18.2 Azmatullah to Anwar Ali, 1 run, a slower short ball outside off, Anwar Ali plinks the pull and it falls well in front of deep square leg running in
