Player of the Match

That's it for tonight. We will be back tomorrow. For now bye and see you soon.

Shaheen Shah Afridi | Lahore captain: Fakhar played a brilliant innings, credit to him, whenever he scores big we win. We have belief in our bowling that we can defend. We were talking in the huddle before we went out, that we have 130 to defend and we went about with that mindset. It happens in the game, Haris is a good fielder [on Haris dropping a return catch]. We will look to give bench players a go and give the main players a rest for the next game.

Fakhar Zaman | Player of the Match: When I was dropped on 1 I knew it was my day. The wicket was good for the first 10 overs, then it played a bit slower. I told Billings also if we stay till the end, we can make a big score. I decided to attack Shadab because he is the one who can get you out. Any opener who scores runs in T20 games helps the team to a big score, I'm lucky when I score Lahore win. Think so, even when we play domestically here, you get scores of 350-400 in 50-over cricket. Credit to the curator for making such kind of pitches.

Shadab Khan | Islamabad captain: Catches win matches and from there they got the momentum. Fakhar outclassed us after that drop. As I said previously as well, we are not a bowling side that will concede 200 every game. The chase was not easy against their bowling team and if you regularly concede 200, then it's hard. In the playoffs, a lot of things will change and hopefully the result also goes our way.

Zaman Khan: I want to thank Allah first of all. Lahore supported me a lot, it's like a family, I get to learn a lot from Shaheen bhai and Haris bhai. Shaheen bhai told me tonight to win the game and bowl length balls. The balls were skidding on and there was swing on offer as well.

With this win, Lahore have confirmed a top two spot in the playoffs.

22:31 Local Time, 17:31 GMT, 23:01 IST: Islamabad have been crushed here. Simon Doull on air informs that this is the first time in PSL history that one batter has outscored an entire opposition team. Also the 5th successive win for Lahore against Islamabad. The 119-run win margin is also the largest in PSL history. A no contest this unlike last night when Jason Roy played one of the all-time great T20 innings. Nothing of that sort from Islamabad as they are bowled out in 15.1 overs for 107. Hales and Gurbaz were key and once they went early, the rest just folded. The highest was 18 from both Hales and Hasan Ali. Azam Khan who suffered an injury while keeping to his left hand was unable to bat and that was a big blow. But Islamabad just were never in the chase. Rashid Khan helped himself to a four-fer and the others just did their jobs. Lahore with a statement win. Stay tuned for the presentation...

15.1 Haris Rauf to Mohammad Wasim Jr, out Caught by Billings!! Game over. A pacy short ball and Mohammad Wasim Jr pulls, a top-edge and Billings goes to his left to take a simple catch. Azam Khan won't bat so that's the game. Mohammad Wasim Jr c Billings b Haris Rauf 8(11) [4s-1]

Haris Rauf to Mohammad Wasim Jr, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Timeout with one wicket left and the game dead! Seriously?
