That's all for now. Keep coming back here for all the action, news and analysis to go with the blockbuster video content. For now escaping. Good night and stay safe.

Shadab Khan | Islamabad captain: I thought both teams were looking to lose tonight I guess, but we played better and won. But lots to learn, our bowling let them score 180 and we collapsed while batting but cricket is a game where we can learn a lot. As a senior player and captain I take responsibility for both my bowling and batting tonight. I played an irresponsible shot and did not bowl well. The main concern was about me in those departments. At the end of the day, if we get 2 points that's what matters. This year we don't have the bowling to limit other sides to low totals. If you are looking for an excuse you can say that. The physio says it will take time as all 3 departments you are involved in and often the ball hits the same finger. No excuses but still the recovery is going on [on his injured hand].

Fazalhaq Farooqi | Player of the Match: Our plan was simple, we tried for wickets if there was help and we tried and got the results. I got swing early on and took 3 wickets. There are a lot of Pathans in the Islamabad team and we go out a lot and it feels nice.

Fazalhaq Farooqi is the Player of the Match.

Sarfaraz Ahmed | Quetta captain: The comeback was great. Outstanding batting by Nawaz and Najib. If we had taken our chances at the start, the game could have gone a bit differently. Definitely there are positives from the season but if we had won more, it would have been better. Two catches from Munro landed in no-man's land and had we taken that wicket, would have helped. Too many slower balls at the end and had we bowled a hard length like Naseem Shah and Naveen did, we could have had a better result. We will try our best in the remaining games.

Azam Khan: When Munro was going we thought we had the game in our hands but they came back well. Really happy about it. Faheem finished it off nicely. I always play as a floater in the Islamabad side. Last game I came at 5, this game came at 6 and I'm really thankful to the franchise for giving this role to me. We are really happy we qualified. From 19/4 they finished at 180 which was a worrying sign for us but we are good. It was a crunch match, Quetta was the first team who gave me the chance to play the PSL and I'm really thankful always for that.

22:48 Local Time, 17:48 GMT, 23:18 IST: Islamabad qualify for the playoffs. More woe for Sarfaraz and Quetta. Gurbaz went early but Munro was on fire as he cut loose. When he was going, Quetta had no answers but three wickets in quick time pulled things back. From 96/2 Islamabad slipped to 102/5 and then Asif Ali too went to leave the game finely poised. Faheem Ashraf and Azam Khan batted sensibly to take the game till the end, seeing out Naseem Shah in the process. 10 off the first 2 balls from Asif's 19th over looked like game won for Islamabad but Asif came back with two wickets to leave Odean Smith 9 to defend off the last over. Odean though bowled predictable slower balls and got carted for a hat-trick of fours to end the game. Stay tuned for the presentation...

19.3Odean Smith to Faheem Ashraf, FOUR, game over! A hard back of a length delivery on the stumps, Faheem swings it over mid-wicket, clean hit and a hat-trick of fours to end the game

19.2Odean Smith to Faheem Ashraf, FOUR, that should be the end of any hopes for Quetta. A slower length ball outside off, Faheem waits and smashes the cut wide of extra-cover, deep cover runs and dives to his left but carries the ball over his body to the cushions

19.1 Odean Smith to Faheem Ashraf, FOUR, poor slower short ball outside off, sits up for Faheem Ashraf who waits and cuts over backward point

Odean Smith [2.0-0-28-0] is back into the attack

Rumman Raees, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Faheem Ashraf has to be take all these last 6 balls. Quetta need his wicket

ISU: 171-8 after 19 overs

18.6 Umaid Asif to Hasan Ali, out Caught by Odean Smith!! Two in the over and now it's all up to Faheem Ashraf. A short ball outside off, Hasan Ali miscues the pull and holes out to long-on. Superb comeback from Umaid Asif. Hasan Ali c Odean Smith b Umaid Asif 1(2)

Umaid Asif to Hasan Ali, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Equation is 9 from 7

18.5 Umaid Asif to Faheem Ashraf, 1 run, back of a length on off, tapped to backward point and a quick single taken

18.4 Umaid Asif to Hasan Ali, 1 run, back of a length on off, defended in front of extra-cover for one

Hasan Ali, right handed bat, comes to the crease

18.3 Umaid Asif to Azam Khan, out Caught by Yasir Khan!! Is there a twist still? A slower short ball outside off, Azam Khan pulls and deep square leg runs to his left to take the catch. Did not get wide enough. Azam Khan walks back tapping the bat on his helmet in admonishment. Azam Khan c Yasir Khan b Umaid Asif 35(25) [4s-2 6s-2]
