Commentary

That's all from double header day. There's a break tomorrow and we will be back with another double header on Thursday. Until then, goodbye and stay safe..

Imrul Kayes: We didn't click in the first three games and had a lot of discussion about that. We planned and executed on the field. If one batter gets set then he should carry on and score 70-80, that is what Litton did for us. We had a plan and I knew if we broke that partnership then there was not much batting left, but they (Imad and Perera) batted well.

Litton Das | Player of the Match: Not really, I just try my best. Chattogram is good for batting, at least I feel that way and I practice hard for such (slow) surfaces. When you are chasing low totals you need partnerships and one of the batters to bat for 15-16 overs.

Mashrafe Mortaza: I think so. We were 15-20 runs short. We didn't bat well up front, losing 7 wickets in the first 10 overs, Imad and Perera fought back but it was not enough. Sometimes when you lose 2-3 wickets you have to bat more sensibly, Mushfiqur and Shanto were batting well after losing 3 wickets but unfortunately Mushfiqur's shot didn't connect. Imad bowled well and an extra spinner might have been handy, but I think the way we have been bowling for the last 4-5 matches, we have been alright.

21:55 Local Time, 15:55 GMT, 21:25 IST: Comilla Victorians should have won it much earlier and more convincingly but Sylhet Strikers are at the top of the points table for a reason. Just like how they fought back from 53/7 and got to 133, the bowlers also made it hard and ensured they didn't gift the win. Litton Das got the Victorians off to a flier and Rizwan played the second fiddle, the pair added their second successive 50+ opening stand but it was broken soon after. Das continued to motor along and when he smashed Sharifullah for 24 runs in the 14th over the match seemed done and dusted, but Mortaza didn't give up and picked a couple of wickets. There was a bit of panic but Charles and Mosaddek saw the Victorians over the line. Presentations coming up..

CV: 134-5 after 19 overs

18.6 Amir to Mosaddek Hossain, 1 run, Comilla Victorians win by 5 wickets. Slower ball and Mosaddek is almost deceived for pace, he is early into the flick and chips it over mid-wicket, the ball lands just wide of mid-on

18.5 Amir to Charles, 1 run, off-pace delivery around off, Charles checks his block and sends it wide of cover

18.4 Amir to Charles, SIX, that should calm the nerves. Slower ball and it was right in the arc, Charles clears his front leg and swings through the line. He sends it straight back over Amir and it clears the rope comfortably

18.3 Amir to Mosaddek Hossain, 1 run, back of a length and at the hips, Mosaddek whips it to deep square leg

18.2 Amir to Mosaddek Hossain, no run, bouncer at the stumps, Mosaddek ducks and allows it to sail over. One for the over signals the umpire

17.3 Rubel to Charles, 2 runs, strays onto the pads, Charles flicks it behind square on the leg-side and the fielder does well to save the boundary
