Commentary

That's it from the first game. But we have another on the way and the toss for that is in less than an hour. Be back quickly and join us for all the action. See you on the other tab..

Shakib Al Hasan: We have been batting really well. We have ticked the boxes in all three games with the bat. We could have bowled better but it was a good wicket. We are very flexible with our batting order and whenever someone needs to step up they are doing that. We have to play 40 overs of good cricket.

Iftikhar Ahmed | Player of the Match: It was a good wicket and I enjoyed batting. The top order batted well but as a senior player the responsibility was on me to bat till the end and take us to a good total. There's always momentum when you win and hopefully we can carry that forward.

Shuvagata Hom: We chased a big total in the last match as well, so we decided to chase but it didn't work out. It was a good surface and they batted well, but we didn't bowl well in the death overs. The openers started off well but the middle order could not capitalize. Ziaur gave us a little bit of hope but it didn't work out.

17:16 Local Time, 11:16 GMT, 16:46 IST: Chattogram Challengers would be disappointed with their middle overs batting. Usman Khan got them off to a flier and kept up with the asking rate in the powerplay. But once he was dismissed, ODowd and Chand sucked the impetus out of the innings. The pair struggled to rotate strike or find boundaries, by the time they were dismissed the required rate was above 14. Afif and Ziaur did damage control and ensured it was not a massive defeat. But credit to the Barishal bowlers as they were not perturbed with the fast start and put the squeeze once the field restrictions were in play. Hang around for the presentations..

CGC: 176-4 after 20 overs

19.6 C de Silva to Shuvagata, 1 run, Fortune Barishal win by 26 runs. Fired full and outside off, Hom makes room and drills it to deep extra cover

19.5 C de Silva to Shuvagata, SIX, comes down the track, gets to the pitch of the flighted delivery and lofts it straight down the ground

19.4 C de Silva to Ziaur, 1 run, comes down the track and is met by a shortened length, forces it to long-on and settles with a single

19.3 C de Silva to Ziaur, no run, flighted outside off, Ziaur goes for the big loft down town but the ball spins away and beats the outside edge. Anamul removes the bails but Ziaur just manages to drag his leg in

Stumping check sent upstairs. It is a fair delivery. Has Ziaur dragged his leg in? He seems to have some part of the boot behind the line. Not Out!

19.2 C de Silva to Ziaur, no run, slower and outside off, Ziaur backs away and is through the big hit early, misses

19.1 C de Silva to Shuvagata, 1 run, flatter and around off, Hom makes room and lofts it to long-off

Chaturanga de Silva [3.0-0-17-0] is back into the attack

CGC: 167-4 after 19 overs

18.6 Karim Janat to Ziaur, FOUR, low full toss and Ziaur manages to get under it, he smacks it straight down the ground and almost sends it all the way, just short of the rope. Another big over, 18 runs

18.5 Karim Janat to Ziaur, wide, slower ball well outside off, Ziaur thought about chasing but aborted, wide called

18.4 Karim Janat to Ziaur, SIX, feeds it right in the arc and Ziaur does not miss out, he thumps high into the sky and gets the required distance to clear long-off

18.3 Karim Janat to Ziaur, 2 runs, full and outside off, Ziaur slices it to deep backward point and the fielder does well to save the boundary, just a brace

18.2 Karim Janat to Ziaur, no run, short of length around off, Ziaur throws his bat and is beaten by the extra bounce

18.1 Karim Janat to Shuvagata, 1 run, to short third man
