David Miller | Paarl Royals captain and Player of the Match: It was a little bit challenging. I tried to sum up the wind. It was a lot easier trying to hit in the direction of the spin. Little bit slow. We bowled really well and put them under pressure. They bowled well in the middle overs. Good win for us, great performance from the boys. To have a world class players like him (Buttler), he's played all around the world, he's being the rock upfront. He batted fantastically again. This competition is wide open. It's tough with really good teams. The fans have been outstanding, it's a great tournament, long may it last.
Aiden Markram | Sunrisers Eastern Cape captain: Happy with how the boys showed fight. We were a few runs short. Good game at the end of the day. The guys must enjoy some time off now, it's been a busy tournament. It's about regrouping a couple of days before our next game. The crowd here has been awesome. They have backed us a lot, almost like our 12th player. It's great for the local players to get the exposure. Rubbing shoulders with legends bodes well for them.
16:54 Local Time, 14:54 GMT, 20:24 IST: Not the result the home crowd would have liked but they were treated to a well-fought encounter. The Royals did a terrific job to restrict the hosts to a below-par score with all their five bowlers picking up at least one wicket. In reply, Paarl won the powerplay, thanks to Buttler's blitz. The Sunrisers fought back with Roelof van der Merwe bowling a spirited spell. He removed the prized scalp of Buttler - the half-centurion - in his final over. Smutts too bowled superbly and Paarl were in a spot of bother at 91/5 in the 15th over. The Sunrisers choked the flow of runs and the equation came to '30 runs needed off three overs'. The hosts would have fancied their chances of defending it, but captain Miller had other ideas. He took Magala to the cleaners and smashed three sixes in four deliveries. The 18th over went for 25 runs and there was no way back for Eastern Cape. Miller fittingly hit the winning runs as the Royals romped home with seven balls to spare.
18.5 Brydon Carse to Miller, 1 run, Miller slaps the cut towards cover where van der Merwe makes a diving stop and has a shy at the keeper's end. Target missed, single taken and Paarl Royals win by 5 wickets!

17.6 Magala to Dane Vilas, FOUR, Dane Vilas has done a #Natmeg! Magala slips in a yorker and Vilas somehow manages to squeeze it away. Through his legs and the ball speeds away to fine leg for four. 25 runs off the over!
17.5 Magala to Miller, 1 run, moves leg-side and punches towards backward point for a single
17.4 Magala to Miller, SIX, that should be the game! Cutter on a good length, sits up nicely for Miller who clobbers it over deep mid-wicket for a 75m six. Came right off the meat of the bat
17.3 Magala to Miller, 2 runs, slower ball from a shortened length, flicked away to deep square leg. A slight fumble and the batters come back for the second
18 runs | 16 balls.
17.2 Magala to Miller, SIX, back-to-back sixes! Magala persists with the full length, serves width outside off on this occasion. With a bent back leg, Miller reaches out for this and carves it over deep extra cover. It's gone outta here!
17.1 Magala to Miller, SIX, in the slot and that's been butchered! Backs away, gets under this overpitched delivery and thumps it straight down the ground. The sightscreen has to bear the brunt!
