That's all from us for today where we witnessed an exciting encounter. You can hop tabs to catch the India vs Sri Lanka first ODI where India have posted a mammoth score of 373 on the board. Till then, it is goodbye from us.

22:25 Local Time, 11:55 GMT, 17:25 IST: A brillant win for the Strikers! To be honest, the hosts killed the game in the first half of the second innings when the Gades were left to chase 130 from the last 10 overs. The hosts were disciplined with the ball throughout and were always ahead in the game. Sam Harper played an outstanding knock but in the end, it proved too much for him as he fell to Manenti against the run of play. A brisk cameo from Sutherland did give the visitors a glimmer of hope but with the asking rate too high, he too succumbed to pressure. Earlier in the game, Short and Gibson gave their side a breezy start and kept the momentum going. Chris Lynn came in and the form he was in, he kept the pressure on the visitors with his calculated strokeplay, scoring his third fifty in a row in the process. On a surface where the ball was coming nicely on the bat, the visiting bowlers failed to cope up with it, which meant that the Strikers posted a mammoth score of 202 on the board and it proved to be too much for the Gades in the end. All in all, a clinical victory for the home side.
