About Bangladesh Premier League 2023
Here are some of the key notes of BPL 2023 that you need to know before enjoying the upcoming matches of BPL 2023.
- Bangladesh Premier League 2023 will be started from January 6, 2023.
- This will be the ninth edition of BPL and it will also be referred as BPL 9.
- The tournament will be continued till February 16, 2023.
- BPL 2-23 will be based on Double round-robin format, which means a team will face any other opponent twice in league phase. After that, best 4 teams will be headed to knockout rounds.
- There will be 7 teams in total in Bangladesh Premier League 2023.
- Total number of matches in BPL 9 is 46.
- BPL Players draft was held on November 23, 2022 and all the teams are already set and build up their squads.
- The matches will be held in three different venues in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet.
BPL 2023 Schedule

BPL 2023 will be held between Chattogram Challengers and Sylhet Strikers and it will be held on 2.30 PM on January 6 at the home of cricket Mirpur, Sher-e-Bangla Stadium of Dhaka. The tournament will be divided into some phases and each phase means venue will be changed.
The venue of phase 2 is Chittagong and in Phase 3 the tournament will be held once again in Dhaka. In Phase 4 the venue will be in Sylhet and in Phase 5 the venue will be Dhaka once again.
